14 Years in IT Blogging: Journey Through Tech History
14 ago, we hit "publish" on our very first IT post. Back then, the cloud was a new idea. Smartphones were still fresh. Windows 7 was the hot new operating system. Spending over a decade writing about Information Technology has been a wild ride. Tech changes fast, but blogging about it taught me even more. Here is what 14+ years of IT blogging taught me. 1. Technology Changes, Fundamentals Stay I have written about hundreds of new tools, languages, and frameworks. Most of them came and went. But the core basics of IT never changed. Good architecture, strong security, and clean code always matter. Focus on the roots, not just the hype. 2. Explain It Like I Am Five The best tech bloggers do not use big words to look smart.
